Shasta Peer Mentoring

An evidence-based curriculum that is implement by supervised high schoolers at middle school campuses after school for 16 weeks. The program is run by the high schoolers and serves as amazing leadership development. Each high schooler is matched with a middle schooler for the duration of the program who serves as a positive influence in their life. This program exists to provide opportunities for young people to be in on-going, mutually beneficial, caring relationships which strengthen their resiliency to the challenges they face in life.
